Black Wheat Flour
Wheat plays a key role for a healthy diet and an important place in all food items.Black Wheat fortified with Anthocyanins , was developed by National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali Punjab,in 2017. It is a variety of pigmented wheat developed by crossing purple and blue wheat. The Anthocyanins present the outer layer is responsible for the black colour of Wheat Grain.

Anthocyanins are naturally occurring antioxidants that develop in the field at the time of Grain filling, hence, enriching the wheat with loads of nutritional value. Sattu Paratha Recipe
Knead flour dough. Prepare the Sattu filling by adding Chopped green chilli, chopped coriander, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped onion, salt and some oil to the Sattu. Fill this mixture in a dough roundel, and flatten to make a paratha. Roast it from both sides on a pan while adding some oi.Hot Sattu parathas are ready
Sattu Cutlets recipe
This dish will surely be loved by the children.
Mix some paneer, boiled and mashed potatoes,oats, chilli powder, corn flour, salt in a bowl.
Now take a separate bowl and make a filling of sattu flour, cashew powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, garlic powder and cumin powder.
Now flatten the potato mixture in your palm and add the filing. Lock from all the sides and shape them in cutlets.
You can make some interesting shapes for your kids. Shallow fry these cutlets in a pan.
KalaNamak Rice
KalaNamak Rice is rich in micronutrients such as iron and zinc and can help prevent Alzheimer’s disease. It also contains 11 percent protein which is almost double of common rice varieties. Besides, it has a low Glycemic Index (49% to 52%) making it sugar free and suitable for even diabetic people. History of KalaNamak Rice
KalaNamak variety derives its name from black husk (KALA means black and the suffix Namak means salt). It has been in cultivation since the 600 BC. It also finds its presence in the book “Speciality Rices of the World” by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.KALA NAMAK RICE also known as "The Buddha Rice”.
It is believed that after attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha, was stopped by the people of Mathla village. They asked Gautam Buddha to give them ‘prasad’. Lord Buddha gave the rice in his alms to the people to sow it. He blessed the rice and said, “ this rice when produced will have typical aroma which will always remind people of me”.
